Environmental Policy

The Kit Room @ DVTalent recognises that our business has an impact on the environment, and we take seriously our responsibility to try and minimise that impact at all times.

To that end, we aim to:

  • manage our business to minimise our impact on the environment having due regard to our business objectives;

  • minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible;

  • minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of our partners, contractors and the source of our power requirement;

  • actively promote recycling within our business operations;

  • meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the company.

Specifically, this includes:

  • Our offices were designed by the award-winning architects, van Heyningen and Haward, with a strong emphasis on being as energy efficient as possible – including the use of LED lighting, ceiling fans (rather than air conditioning), and natural materials.

  • We use recycled paper and in turn recycle all our paper and cardboard, as well as plastics and glass bottles.

  • Our couriers use diesel vehicles only and the fleet is all less than 5 years old and conforms to Euro 5 emission standards

  • We encourage our staff to use public transport and to take up the cycle to work scheme.

  • Where feasible, we try to cross-hire equipment from local firms to minimise transport pollution

  • We use very few chemicals, and use biodegradable ones only where possible

  • We keep to a minimum the use of solvents and lead-based paints
