Outstanding Quality
The Micro OLED display in the Gratical EVF gives extremely high contrast and true blacks, and superb resolution. When combined with the custom optics, you have a bright, sharp, high contrast image with a generous field of view.

Connections
Includes both SDI in/out and HDMI in/out connections. A neat feature is also the ability to cross-convert HD signal to both HDMI and HD-SDI outputs. For Arri Alexa, Canon C300, Sony F55, and Epic cameras, there will be an optional proprietary cable to supply metadata to match the camera's proprietary EVF information, leaving the SDI / HDMI jack free for other applications such as connecting another monitor

Internal Features
Includes many user aids such as Histogram, Waveform and Vectorscope. You can also move video to the top or bottom of the viewfinder image and customise your readouts around this. This new finder also has LUT creation facility - you can import, create and save LUTS with the option with viewing of your custom settings for example you can preview your preferred settings in the EVF while viewing the RAW image on a separate monitor. You can also customise what data is available in the EVF (eg recording light, histograms) which can be different to that displayed on a client monitor.

Physical Features
Control-wise there are four programmable side-mounted buttons and a full menu joystick  and the dioptre adjustment has been re-designed with a range from -1 to +4. Mounting options include a side mounted rosette fitting for either third party mounts or Zacuto's own Access mount, plus a 14"-20 tripod type bush on the bottom. The Gratical uses the familiar Zacuto eyecup design with anti-fog protection and the long runtime battery is removable.
